Is Chasing Work Passion Making Us Miserable?
Some criticize the quest for work passion as an elite goal, confusing “a means of material production to a means of identity production” leading most people to misery.
But what's the alternative? Settle for unfulfilling 8-hour workdays and live for the weekend?
For centuries, work has defined us—even our names, like Smith or Baker, come from our trades. Why would it be bad? I believe there's more to life than living for the weekend.
While work may not always be blissful like eating a Michelin dinner, at WoPa, we believe being methodical about what ignites our work passion can lead to significant improvements.
That's our mission. Design Work Paths to Work Passion.
